It feels like I'm being left behind. Everyone else is stepping it up...

Sounds like a beauty, now prove it.

lol hell yeah! Well, realistically i will likely only go stage 2+ this year, then next winter I will probably be doing the timing belt anyway (car has 105,000km right now), so I will have a good excuse to think about trying a bi-frankenturbo setup!

Beautiful S4 to say the least

Just a suggestion but you may want to pop the covers and inspect your Timing Belt for cracks. I'd hazard to guess that the T-Belt shows visible signs of cracking due to combination of mileage plus age.

Enjoy your ride!

Thanks for the tip- I certainly will at least take a peak at it- this will not be a daily driver, more of a summer weekend car, so I will likely only put 5,000 km on her this year, but I will look to be sure... Other than that, I will likely wait until winter to do the tb if it looks ok.
At the moment though, I am waiting on the insurance to change the oil pan --combination of "moar low" and spring flooding/asphalt heaving has given me the "ventilated oil pan" mod
so I am waiting for these repairs, then I will be adjusting the suspension, checking the tb, installing dp's and getting a stage 2 tune (maybe a darintake for good measure)
any more tips? Or recommendations on a tune? At this point, I only have APR locally, so I am considering them, but also thinking about giac, uni, vast, epl, and the other big boys. I may just buy a tuned ecu on the classifieds.
