Default Looking for shop in Calgary

Hi there,

I am new to this forum, bought a 2000 A4 1.8T recently, and I'm looking for a good shop to work on it. I refuse to take it to Glenmore or Royal Oak Audi.

Has anyone heard about Riegel Tuning? I called there for a quote on a few things and they seemed good. I know they have been around for a long long time, but I wanted to get your opinions before I book.

Thank you.

Do yourself a favour and take it to George at Tunedub, his prices are good, his work is great. Second choice would be Lawrence at Calgary Autoworks. You can't go wrong at either of those shops. I have never had personal experience with Reigel, so I can't comment on their work.

I am also looking for a shop to do some work. I have always gone to Glenmore Audi but I found that the prices are way to high and they seem to create more problems after they fix a problem. In the past, I own a few Volkswagons and took them to Mid-town. Does anyone have any thouhgts on taking my A4 to them or is there someone else that would be better?

Go to Calgary Autoworks, they charge less than the dealer and have more Audi specific tools. For example, on the tiptronic transmission around 100k there is a major need for a transmission flush, dealers will not flush automatic transmissions, but yet they stock the tools to do the job, they claim the fluid is 'lifetime' so they can sell you a new tranmission. The special tool to fill the transmission is major $$$ and requires more than just code scanner to do it properly. What ever tool for the job Calgary Autoworks has it.
