Im new here and i wanna know something... I heard that BOV are not very good ... and please i dont wanna start another debate ahahaha ( i read the other thread ) ...

1-So, can i make my DV sound Wouuussssh !! without replacing by a BOV or putting an intake ??

If not, what is the best intake... Hps is good ??

The stock intake is really good you would be suprised. Can you make the DV sounds like a BOV depends on what DV you get, but mostly it is a lot less audible. Going with BOV the issue is that there is a lot of headaches that come along with it.

 

Ok... so with a stock intake and a stock diverter valve.... i will hear the wouusshhh sound ??

with stock dv ? i doubt you'll hear much. or any dv valve really...they wont be nearly as loud as bov as 1move said, but put a bov and its like bandaging your head when nothing is wrong with it...

 

I got the forge splitter valve which is basically a dv and bov had it for a year now and no issues and it gives a nice sound.

 

ok, a DV doesn't give you a sound at all. only a BOV does.

ummmm Wrong! I could hear it on my 2004 A4 1.8t Auto, on the manual it is a lot less audiable but still there.

 

better check for a boost leak.

 

No boost leaks! no codes, nothing. I will find you a video and you can hear it then. It is slightly audiable and you can hear it. With a manual it is a lot less audiable, give me any 1.8t AT and I will show you.
