the sound is not comming from the valve. there is no way a DV will make one.
the only way is the routing of the hose maybe close toan open airfilter. a DV will not give you a sound.

 

Agreed! If we are talking about the "DV" itself making the sound then NO! But during its open cycle you can hear it release through the intake, hence the less audiable sound. The BOV releases to atmosphere and therfore you get the really loud woouusshhh sound. Sorry IcemanGER, i should have been more clear on my posts. My bad.

 

i got the forge splitter and you can hear the wooushh... as long as you set it properly and let it break in for about a day. then you can really hear it.

 

how much did you pay for it and where did you get it from? Did you have to make any other changes?


does anyone know how to get the wooushh without any problems and without making wholes in my pockets?

 

Only on B5 A4s the DV's dont make sounds, But as for the newer audis the TFSI i dont know why, you can actually here a woush sound with nothing wrong with the car, My friend has 2.0T A3 2009 you can hear the woush from the engine easily
