Default thinking of buying a 2007 q7 with 100K

does anyone have experience with the 2007 model? any known problems i should be concerned about??

I am not aware of any major issues with the first year of Q7's. I had a squeakly sunroof issue with my '09 but that is not that uncommon with these large panoramic roofs. That's a lot of glass to be flexing.

I have heard a few issues with regard to the 4.2. A qualified Audi tech told me one issue with that engine has to do with "breathing". Apparently, that engine needs to breath regularly. Stop and go city traffic, over the long term, can lead to reduced performance. A regular boot on the highway, I was told, is required.
