anyone found any new VCDS things you can do with q5?

 

How would you like to enable the MMI display to allow you to to watch DVD's while the car is moving?

 

i dont have nav =( didnt want to wait.
any other mods?

What mods have you done already?

I deleted all of my Q5 posts on AudiWorld. Most of the useful ones are here and on Quattroworld, Audizine and Fourtitude.

 

well, f audiworld lol.

i got 2 dvd players installed on my headrest connected to 2 ps2s.
i ahve teh winking DRL, the conveince windows, the gauge sweep.
any other cool things?

 

do you use a blackberry regina?

 

That's about all the mods I've got so far. I use an iPhone 3GS.

 

wow not much we can do with the mmi eh?
isnt there a mod were you can see your 1/4 mile time or something like that? i thought i saw it in your posts before.

 

You know me better than I do. You're right, I forgot about that one. You can add a lap timer to the DIS. Kind of a useless feature and just one more thing you have to skip through on the DIS to get to more useful information. If you're interested in doing it I'll look back and see where it was.
