Hi:

I am looking to replace my 6 yr old Honda Odyssey Touring with a 7 seater SUV and am narrowing in on Q7 Sport. I drive around 15K, half city (in GTA), half highway. I see lots of comments saying the the break pad will require replacement around 25K kms. (including rotor in many cases). Is this an issue particular to Q7 or all luxury SUV's? (My Odyssey still has the original pads after 70K kms - not all that lightweight compared to Q7)

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I have 51 thousand km's on a 2010 Q5 and brakes are just fine.
