Default Q5 engine choice

Hi all.
We are new to the forum, about to purchase a new 2018 Q5 S Line, and are trying to decide which engine/transmission to order?
Is either of the engines/transmissions more reliable or require more service than the other over the long term?
We generally keep our vehicles at least 10 years so reliability is a concern.
We travel approximately 15 000 km per year and do not drive our vehicles hard.
Thank you for any direction.
Al

Not sure I understand your question as to "which" drive train to order? If it's the Q5 and not SQ5 then your only drive train is the 2.0TFSI with S tronic.

Thanks flightmedic. I was looking at a 2017 S Line Q5 with the 3 litre and didn't realize the 2018 Q5 does not offer this engine.
How does the 2017 3 litre compare to the 2 litre for reliability/longevity?
Thanks for any help and sorry about the mix up.
There are a few of very low mile 2017 SQ5 available for about 65K Canadian.
Nice vehicle but may be more than I need. Is the extra 10k worth it and how do the SQ5s hold value? Are they as trouble free as the Q5 over the long range if properly maintained?

Welcome to the forums. I've had an 2010 with the 3.2 for 130,000 kms now. Only issues with the engine are the injectors.
The other 2.0Litre and 3.0 Supercharged engine in the current models I know little about. So I can't really help you out that way.

Thank you for the reply flightmedic.
Did the injector problem require replacement or cleaning? Expensive to repair?
Thanks
