A) Look for a 2009 or B) wait for 2010?

Anyone yet hear any pricing for the 2010 or the changes?

I now have a 2006 A4 2.0T and am thinking about selling it....and buying either the Q5 or A4. I know they are very different...but the Q is so nice!

 

You'll have a hard time finding an '09, and if you do, it may not be exactly what you want.
Prices are not released yet. For sure before the end of the month. it may go up by 1%, not a whole lot.
The price for the options will be the same. 19" wheels are no longer available, 20" will now be part of the option pkg.

 

Bargaining

I know premium package starts 48 XXX CAD Plus taxes, etc...

Do anyone know how much bargain can you talk it down to? Average?!

 

Does anyone know if the 2.0T will be offered on the 2010 Q5?

 

The 2.0t engine will be offered in the 2011 model.

 

I test drove a Q5 and an A4 avant on the weekend. I was much more impressed with the 2.0T that the V6. The dealer did mention that the Q5 with 2.0T would be available by the end of this year. For me, the Q5 with the 2.0 would be perfect, as long as I don't have to tow more than 2000 lbs. Have you heard anything more on this model?

Afretes, I don't know where you are getting your information. Perhaps your comments are true in other parts of the world but in Canada, 19" wheels are available as a stand-alone option on the Premium Trim and 20" wheels come equipped with S-Line. Also, there is no chance the North American Q5 will see a 2.0T anytime soon

 

RS4AWLE I agree with you. I upgraded mine to the 19" stand alone very nice. Audi discontinued the 2.0 L engine on the A4 for 2010, no chance we'll see that engine on Q5 or the TDI engine.

In my opinion, the 19" wheels are by far the nicest. Even nicer than the 20" wheels equipped with S-line!

as for the 2.0T discontinued, I'm sure you meant the 3.2 V6 being discontinued for the A4 - which, thankfully, brings the S4 into previous A4 V6 price range! It's the best bargain on the market today.

Don't hold your breath for a 2.0T or TDI Q5 - it will be couple of more years for the TDI, and I wouldn't count on 2.0T Q5 coming to Canada at all.

 

Hy RS4AWLEY: Thanks for the compliment on the RIMs. You're right I got the two engine's swapped it's the 3.2 they're getting rid of. And yo'ure for sure right about the 2.0 and TDI coming to Canada no way. I wan in Italy last month saw a manual 2.0 Q5 it was beautiful. I'd love that car in manual. Also sux we don't have the 7 speed dual clutch. Oh well sux to live in North America
