Q moving forward on slope while on reverse
While on a downward slope, having my foot on the break and shifting gear to reverse.. as soon as I lift my foot off the break pedal and just before pressing on the gas; -My car moves forward as if in neutral.
Is this normal? Does anyone know?

I don't see how it can be abnormal. I guess it depends on how steep the slope is and due to centre of gravity, it should not be alarming before you hit the gas.

The thing is, doesn't happen all the time..
There are times when the car remains still until I press on the gas.
Anyone else have this issue?

I tried this with my Q5. With the parking brake on, it holds fine, transitions smoothly to reverse and backs up as you push on the the accelerator.

It's definitely about the grade of slope. I pull out of the parkade at my work, and it was pretty steep. If I take my IS250, it rolls back before I hit the gas. On the Q5 however, it stays still.
