Default Picking Up My New (to me) Q5 This Weekend

First time poster here (so please be nice!)

I just bought a used Q5 and will be picking it up this weekend. Purchased from an Audi dealership.

Wondering if anyone has any advice as to things I should be asking when I pick it up. This is my first used car (and my first Audi) so I feel like a fish out of water here.

FYI - bought a black on beige 3.2 with nav/BandO/technology package. Can't wait to get her!

(or if there is a similar thread out there, please just point me in the right direction. Haven't had any luck with the search yet.)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Janice:

Congratulations on your new vehicle and a warm welcome to AudiForum.ca.

The Q5 is a fantastic vehicle and there is a ton of very detailed and valuable discussion on the Q5 right here on this forum from the last 4 years.

Feel free to search for any topics you wish to read about once you pick up the Q5.

For now, here is a discussion that will help you with things you should look for upon pick up:

Please be sure to post pics.

Cheers.

Thanks so much for the reply!! We are pretty excited - found the list on what to look for when we pick it up so I will be armed with more info than necessary. Hope they don't give us a hard time re: stuff that should be included, but we'll see.

This is a great site, btw.

Congratulations,
You'll enjoy your Q5, especially with the options you have and winter coming you have the right vehicle.

FYI, I purchased 2 used Audi's from the dealer with the certified guarantee, the first was a 2005 A4 the I bought in 2008 and then traded it for a 2010 A4 premium plus
s-line this past august.

I was always well taken care of when in for maintance and they treated you very well.

(Never had any major problems)

Thanks Danluc. I'm pretty excited. Coming from a 2003 RSX so it will be a *bit* of an upgrade

LMAO - A "bit" of an upgrade!

CONGRATS!! I came from a 2001 Lexus IS300 and I'm soo glad I have the Q5 now. You're going to LOVE IT!!! It doesn't take long to get familiar with the size and gadgets.

Post pics when you have a chance and welcome!!
