Default Oil Consumption Issue

Hey Everyone,

My 2017 Q7 3L Supercharged recently started indicating that it need an oil top up every 2000km. Now i am aware that Audi is known to use up the oil about 1LT for every 10000km. But it went from that to the light coming on every 2000km over night.

I have done some research and it looks like it may be the PCV valve which was an issue at earlier models. The car does not have extra smoke coming out of the tail pipe no knocking and no leaks visible anywhere. So I don't think its the piston rings or anything more major for that matter. When I had the car running and tried to open the oil cap there was a large vacuum which again leads me to believe it is the PCV.

Has anyone experienced this ? or can recommend a good mechanic that knows his way around these engines ?

Thanks,
