Just ordered my Q5 probably get it in January. I just found out that there is a blacked out option for the americans that is not available for canadians.

I was bummed out about that, but I'm still excited about the Q.

Do you guys know if this will be available in Canada in the future?

 

It was available in 2011.... It's a special order item and some dealers aren't aware of it. Last year's code: SPO-4ZM ($500 order fee + retail price of $650)

I'd be surprised if you couldn't get it again....

thanks guys. I should've been more clearer. The black out option with the titanium rims. I know that the black out option is available but I didnt want to get it without the titanium rims.

 

Thanks Adrena....you're so lucky you got those rims btw. They're not available anymore on the 2012.

 

One other question. All I got from audi was an email with a production date of Dec 1, 2011. does that mean I won't get the car until January?

Yes. What this means is that they will start build on Dec 1. I would count on delivery date of end of Feb to mid March.
