I have an order for an Q5 2.0T Premium, with pano-roof, hid led and power trunk.

Did not go for the PP cuz, I can live without the AMI, Color screen for the driver display, Advanced Key with Start, Garage door and Audi assist.

Savings of $2700.

Are there any other difference between the P and P+?

 

Sure - headlight washers (unless these come with your bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights option); rear seat heating; 10 spoke wheels (instead of 6 spoke wheels); resale value

There may also be a difference in the operation of the central locking system - not sure about this.

The AMI is really nice - everyone in my family is plugging their iPods/iPhones into it and LOVE controlling their music though the MMI interface.

Personally, I like the convenience key (just leave it in my pocket all the time) and the garage door opener, and I'm surprised that I like the Audi Side Assist - it is something that I never thought about when ordering the Q5, but have grown to like it.

 

Your not missing much from the premium plus--in my opinion what is added are a bunch of gizmos that you probably wouldn't use and its definitely not worth the extra 3 grand.

If I would order, which I may, im going to spring only for the HID leds, the power trunk is a novelty and the pano-roof would only cause problems down the road.

Audi gives higher residuals for the premium rather than the premium plus.
