Default Increasing frustration...

Sigh... I have been really happy with the look and the feature in my premium 2009 Q5; however, it is those non-stop problems that is getting me frustrated about it now... Not sure if it's just my luck with cars.

1) 1 time passenger side DRL is out
2) 2 times driver side DRL is out (which is happening now)
3) 1 time rear light indicator on then went away for no reason
4) 1 time Engine light indicator on then went away nx day for no reason
5) Nav settings somehow automatically keep changing on me and finally had to do a hard reset and manually set everything back
6) weird 'buzzing' sound when the gear automatically shift up

For 2) & 4) somehow seems to relate to me making a sudden quick acceleration... and I started hearing 6) after 1st service was done, and when 2) & 4) start happening recently.

Wonder is anyone as bad luck as me????

I haven't seen those problems, but I picked up my Q5 3 days ago and already have these problems. All but the last appear to be things they should have caught on the Pdi but didn't. I'm taking it in tomorrow hopefully to get it all corrected.

- side assist won't turn on
- blemishes in the paint on the exterior driver and passenger door handles (like they've been rubbed)
- discoloration on the interior pillar behind the drivers door (like a mechanic with dirty hands touched the pillar)
- blemishes on one of the wheel rims
- vibration/rattle from what sounds like the driver side tailpipe at certain Rpms. Particularly noticeable on start and stop.

Good luck with your new car. Most of those things will not happen again once it's fixed so sounds like you will be ok.

When you talk about paint, I just remember I replaced my driver side door due to an accident (ya... talk about luck... someone side swipe me when they changed lane without looking) and the new door chrome piece just below the window on the outside started coming off after a couple of months of replacement. Lucky that the Audi Mississauga service team glue it back on for me as a courtesy. Just can't believe the make can be this bad????
