Is your powder coater local?

 

Yep, using Calgary Powder Coaters. I've heard they do exceptional work, only cons were they sometimes push out smaller orders if something big comes in. In my case they added another week, which is not a big deal.

I was thinking about using Top Gun because they have a pretty good reputation, but they wanted quite a bit more per rim and they don't strip them either. All said and done to get them stripped and powder coated through them it was nearly times the cost

 

Cool. I remember looking for a place to do some powder coating a few years back, and I couldn't find anyone in the entire city. I am really looking forward to seeing the final product and hearing your opinion on the quality.

I got it pretty close to the same colour as the car, although the wheels might be a bit whiter than the Audi

Mounted them up this afternoon, pretty happy with how it turned out

 

The shades of white match exactly. Of course, we'd all like to see multiple shots from different angles, but I think it looks awesome.
