Default Help, my brakes are crazy squeaky!

OK, I was holding up with this one, but it got to the point that it really bothers me.
When I come to complete stop, just before car actually stops - my brakes give this very squeaking noise. Then when at complete stop I release brakes just a bit - it squeaks like crazy, to the point it's very embarrassing.... I constantly need to remind myself not to release brake pedal gently... None of cars I driven so far have done that, this is a little bit insane. How your Q5s brake? Can I prevent squeaking somehow?

Mine do the same. There was another post about this and there was a solution (some sort of break-in for brakes). Doesn't bug me that much.

I now have over 26k on my Q and never experienced any noise from my brakes.

I hope it continues this way as i'm already busy dealing with the oil consumtion issue..

Mine did that too and I was a little concerned and called the dealer, they told me to go down a big hill and jump on the brakes a few times (make sure nobody is behind you), it stopped after that for me.
