I currently have a Honda Accord and am excitedly upgrading to the Audi Q5. I'm not in a huge rush, apart from just WANTING to upgrade!

I'm trying to find details on the 2014 model, but details are sparse. (t SOUNDS like:
- Price bump
- More options are standard
- More trims/model variants?

Is there any known release date for the 2014 model? Any other insight on whether it is worth it to wait for the 2014 model or dive right in?

I bought my Accord in February, which was far off next year's model. Now that we're in July, it is a little closer...!

2014 has a slight horsepower bump as well

I ordered a 2014 about 2 months ago, should be getting it within 2 weeks.

its basically the exact same car so if you get a deal on a '13 go for that if not wait for '14

other than the 9hp i think they included the power tailgate in the base model. thats it

No other improvements though? It looks like they changed some of the trims, but what about the cosmetics - or even the internal layout/buttons and stuff? Or the seats?

I'm pretty sure that the top edges of the front grille have been champfered but no other cosmetic changes. There are two S Line options now: one with Drive Select and one without Drive Select. The trim level names have changed from Premium and Premium Plus to Progressiv and Technik respectively.

Kaitlyn, like you, I was weighing the 2013 or 2014 option and on Saturday I decided on a 2013 Q5 Premium Plus with S Line package and Bang & Olufsen audio. I'm pretty excited to take delivery on Wednesday!

If I understand correctly, Audis come over from Europe and enter through port of Halifax for distribution across Canada. The first 2014's are en route now and expected to arrive in Halifax next week so you can probably see the 2013 - 2014 difference with your own eyes by the end of the month.
