I got shift lock isse on my 19 days old q5 with total of 1250km. On Friday I couldn't change the gear from D to P. I could shift from D to R with no problem but from R to P won't. I have to press the shift lock very hard. Also does same Dom P to R but from R to D is ok.
Has any one had this issue. I don't understand how child this happen on new car.
I have dropped it to dealer yesterday and got loaner for now. They said they will need to get in touch with Audi Canada.

I also had new front grill order as I. Was not properly flushed in and last week they ordered ne one. So far tow main issues with my Q5. Not happy at all..

 

I'm sorry to see that you're having probs with your new Q5... No issues yet and we just hit 1,500Km yesterday.

After that long wait, and now this, sorry dude. hopefully the PR people at AUDI will smooth things out.

I just got an update earlier from my dealer .... Hey have replaced something to do with gear shifter lock ... I'll update once I pickup I'll update with details
Also they have got my front grill and I will be installed today... Hopefully it will be ready by 5pm today...
Let's hope I don't get any more issues....
