FSI Carbon Buildup and Q5
The ideal engine is the 2.0 TDI 6 speed. I would have been all over that one.
You should have considered taking possession late Aug or early Sep, you would have probably got a 2011 model, that's what happened to me last year over the 2009 instead got a 2010.
In 2010 they switched to servertronic which is a huge difference. MSRP went up 100 dollars as a result.

True - they will probably max and match the exterior/interior color options. The Hybrid I'd stay away from, it's Audi's first Hybrid engine in NA at least and pricing will probably be too high besides no one really understands the over-all cost (down the line cost) of maintaining a hybrid engine.

Put all aside for me if you can, I'll grab it from you as soon as I drive to Niagara hopefully in the next week or so (it's time to stock up on some Ice Wine anyways). Thanks a bunch.
Any 09 owners experiencing problems?
This carbon buildup issue is scaring me since I planned on keeping a 2011 q5 3.2 for a minimum 7 years (200K mark). I'm tired of leasing vehicles and changing them every three or four years.
Based on forums and the net, I should stay away from Audi, since it would cost me $2K every year or even twice a year after the warranty runs out...
Any comments or advice?

The FSI engine is a direct-injection engine, meaning that the fuel is injected directly into the cylinder. This is unlike port fuel-injected engines, which injected fuel into the intake runner of the intake manifold. PFI engines could suffer from carbon build-up in the intake manifold. If the FSI engine suffers from carbon build-up, the most likely location would be at the tip of the fuel injector itself.
