thank you all for your replies. they made me feel better after dealing with my dealer.

1move, your assumption was right about the battery. that's what happened the first time. the 2nd time was a different issue rather than the battery, however, the service manager gave me a quick and false solution by installing a battery tender before running any diagnosis.

CanadianQ5Prem, i did contact Audi Canada (Audi Customer Care) to express my concerns of the dealer and the vehicle when what happened the 2nd time. the response from them was that they would be in contact with the dealer to see what diagnosis would come up from the dealer and i should trust the dealer's expertise and capability once again, they might do something different if something happened again. it sounded like they could help you by only lubricating between you and your dealer.

i did mention to get a loaner vehicle to Audi Canada given that i'm living far away from the city and etc., and the push back i got from them was that Audi Canada does not offer loaner or rental cars to customers during the diagnosis, too bad i would have to find my ways around myself.

i am patiently waiting for the 3rd time diagnosis from the dealer and what Audi promised of taking a further step into my case.

regardless, i'm happy to hear that you guys have been enjoying your Audi and been taken care of by your dealers.

thanks again and cheers to you all!

Could be a number of things but unless we do a scan or get some error codes cant really narrow it down.

From my understanding is he leaves the car for the night comes back in the morning and the battery is drained. Is this the correct assumption? Ask the dealer to check the DRL module if thats the case.
As described in the original post from iltkd there is more to it then just the battery, and from other similar complaints from other forums, there appears to be an ongoing issue with FSI engines with carbon buildup that prevents the fuel from getting injected into the system...this could result in issues starting the engine especially in the cold...just a good place to start in my opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, don't you get a loaner under the Audi Warranty if your car is in overnight or more? I could be wrong, but I thought I read this somewhere.

Nope, or it states subject to availability. When I had to bring my car in the loaner had to be booked 2 weeks in advance, plus there was a gas charge on top.
