Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
I ordered on January 20th and received on June 16. Pricing was formally available that week. Early adopter meant i did not get Lane Assist which I wanted. Initial delivery date was mid April but we all know what happened with Audi's ability to deliver their cars.

Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
Sounds like Audi still has long delays in delivering new Q5's to Canada.
I ordered a Q5 in mid-July (Technik, Comfort seat pkge, metallic paint, walnut interior trim). The order form lists expected delivery as Oct.31/2017, but dealer says delivery will likely be late Nov or early Dec.
In researching subject, it appears that Audi & VW in Mexico are grappling with serious transportation issues from these plants. Sounds like the core problems involve trucking and trains. No evidence that a problem exists once vehicles are loaded onto ships or after delivery to N. American delivery points.

Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
Hi all
I ordered a 2018 Q5 from the downtown Toronto location and they said production is scheduled for July 31 and delivery for late August/early September. Does anyone have an updated status on cars from the July 31 production run? I saw in earlier replies some people were even able to track what boat their car was on but I am not sure how they got that information.

Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
I ordered a Utopia Blue Technik with Adaptive Air Suspension, Urban Driver Assist, Comfort Interior, rear airbags. Ordered on April 11, built week of July 11, and being delivered to Victoria BC the week of August 11 so almost exactly 3 months from order to build and 1 month to deliver as I was told by the dealer. Seems like a long delivery time given we are on the same continent. Unfortunately I'm out of town so it'll be a week before pickup. Just saw the photos of the 2019 e-tron Quattro....whoa thats some spicy tamale. Norwegians get first in to pre-order. I think knowing its around the corner may actually hurt Q5 sales next year, it looks awesome.

Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
Roadkilt - like you, I was intrigued by photos of the 2019 e-tron Quattro. However, I'm not sure it will be competing with the Q5 directly.
It appears to be very "squat" which means interior room - especially headroom - will be limited. It also looks like road clearance is quite a bit less than a Q5.
This may be more of a competitor to the A4 Allroad station wagon?? Would be interested in comments from others on forum. (I considered the Allroad as an alternative to the Q5 but several factors made the Q5 a better buy for us - better ground clearance, more cargo capacity & easier to enter/exit due to height above road surface. I think the Allroad is a beautiful looking vehicle.)

Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
I specifically wanted the Q5 with the Air Suspension as its has class leading height and clearance with it. Although Vancouver island doesnt get a lot of snow on the coast the interior gets tough winter weather and most interior roads on the island arent paved. I'm not so sure how well the tires will do but I ordered the 19" which should help soak up potholes. The e-torn Quattro does look "city" with its chopped height look.

Re: Did anyone order the 2018 Q5
A whole pile of Q5s showed up in their finest travel bags, including mine. Off to be cleaned and detailed for two days then ready for delivery. I'll be picking mine up next monday. Dealer giving me $20K for my 2013 Audi A4 Premium Plus loaded with new rubber and roof racks, mint, with 48500 km. I think the sales manager is a bit of a d**k but my sales guy has been superb for my last two audis. Audi is screwing me somewhat on the trade in although the tax advantages against the purchase make it a little more attractive. Certainly the loooongest vehicle purchase I've made...5 months to pickup.
