CV Joint Replacement
My 2016 Q5 (w/117k) started having a clicking noise and diagnosis indicated CV joint.
The dealership is indicating the entire shaft assembly needs to be replace as a unit, versus just replacing the CV joint itself.
In looking at Audi USA parts - I see both options:
1) CV joint kit 8K0498099F.html
2) CV Axle assembly https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi_201...relatedProduct
I'm looking at a $1700+ repair for a something that should last 200k+
Thoughts?
