Burning smell?
Hi guys I picked up my 2012 audi q5 s line this morning and the car is unbelievable BUT I just got home parked it in my garage, and as I was getting out I could smell something burning. I didn't think it was the car at first so I started it up and turned it off again and it still smelled like something was burning once I got out of the vehicle. I was going to call the dealership but its closed, just thought I'd post here just in case someone has experienced this problem.
Maybe some sticker from the factory touched the exhaust?
I wouldn't worry too much about it, it will eventually just burn off.
I drove over a plastic bag with my last car and it melted onto my exhaust under the car. It eventually burnt off. lol

I agree, I wouldn't worry much for now. It's brand new car, these things are normal. After a while, say 3-4 weeks all should be normal. If not, then contact dealer to check it out.
Ya I called the dealer and he said similar stuff. He said I should give it a couple weeks and if the burning smell is still there then I should get it checked out. Thanks for replies guys.
