Audi reliability report!
I just came across article in USA Today. JD Power run survey on owners with 3y old cars.
VW plans to be No. 1 car seller in the world by 2018 - USATODAY.com
Audi came out not impressive at all!! Below average I would say.... And VW was even worse, finish almost dead last!!! It's certainly not what I was hoping to see.
I was planning to keep Q5 for more then 4y, but it looks like extended warranty is a must for it! BTW, it's 3500K to buy it......
I was under impression that Audi is one of the most reliable brands, but that is apparently not the case at all!
I'm disappointed with this report...

Re: Audi reliability report!
I wouldn't worry. We don't realy know what issues consumers reported. If you ask me, Probabley all minor issues.
Take me as an example; after 2-3 days after taking delivery of my Q5, I experienced a crack in my windsheild. Took it in and they concluded it was a stress crack, happens sometimes mfg defect ..
They ordered a new windsheild from the MFG and will have it installed this week.
I'm still happy, I'm sure the major components/systems of my car are probabley of the highest quality compared to alot of other car Mfg.

Re: Audi reliability report!
Unlike many others, I'm planning to drive my Q5 as long as I can. I have the Audi Care plan, but haven't seen anything about an extended warranty. Can anyone point me to details on it?

Re: Audi reliability report!
Ive never read much into JD Power reports... they usually have so many subsections that "everyone" gets a prize. Comparable with loving you motor and Top Gear saying its uncool on the cool wall
