Audi care for a used 2011 Q5 from the US
Hello Q5 lovers,
Looking at buying a used 2011 Q5 from the States and was wondering if I can buy Audicare from a local dealer here in Canada since Audicare can not be transfer from the US (I did check with Audi Canada about it). Therefore, I don't want to get rip for servicing and see all the savings from buying South of the border go into servicing.
So if I buy a low milage Q5 (let's say not more than 15,000Km):
-Will a Canadian dealer sell me the package?
-Is it still worth it even if the first service is past?
Thanks for your help ! Great forum !
Frank

My service rep, Jason Turner, reckons that this is not possible, however, I am following up with AudiCanada to find out for you. Don't fret, on a 2.0T you will not lose your shorts by paying as you go, probably under a hundred bucks unless prices for services skyrockets. The 3.2 makes more sense, but it will hardly put a dent into the savings from buying American. For example, I priced out 2011 A5 servicings over the term of AudiCare and if my client pays as she goes, it costs her something like $40 more than AudiCare. Not much incentive.
