Abysmal service at Dieppe Auto in New Brunswick.
Hello all. Proud owner of a 2014 Q7 Sline. Picked up my car end of January 2014. Refused to have it detailed by them after I noticed this was more of a Volkswagen dealership. with a puny garage and washing area and a huge volume of cars being serviced.
When the snow was gone, I noticed scratches in the rear window. I notified the dealership and they were alright with replacing it, but not after I brought it to Speedy for an inspection. I brought it directly to them (I live 4 hours from the dealership). I discovered more scratches on the right side back window. Nothing too deep, just noticeable. they seem to have dropped the ball on QC as these scratches seem to have originated from the manufacturer of the windows as they are parallel and multiple. I also noticed a paint defect in the rear spoiler.
Evan Hambrook, service manager, tried to lie his way out of replacing the newly found scratches stating that "it's 11 months after the purchase" (as if it makes a difference when the defects were detected on a new vehicle with a prolonged waaranty!) when I made him aware of these new scratches in the summer with pictures that I emailed to him.
I called Audi Canada and they said they will look into the issue but I will NEVER ever get my car serviced there or buy another vehicle from them. Can I afford a $300 window, you bet I can but this is supposed to be a luxury brand. Unfortunately, the Audi side of the business for Dieppe Auto seems to be a sideline and I would avoid them.
