2014 Q5 3.0t oil leak and internal structure bent
Hi,
I got my 2014 Q5 3.0T on Jan. Yesterday (Oct 25,2014), when I back home, i found some oil marks on my driveway. Then I checked my car and found something really serious to me. The engine was leaking and there is metal bar bent next to the engine. I don't know what happened to the engine. And how the metal bar was bent.
But I do remember on last Friday, when I was driving on the highway I smelled something like oil smell.
I am going to the dealer tomorrow. It will be very helpful, if you know what happened to my car.

Luckily, The problem was the oil pan drain plug. They replaced it. and they said the bent is designed like that.
Hmm. I put 12000Km on it since last oil change. I remember i was trying to merge in highway and doing acceleration, That was what triggered the problem. So high internal pressure may break the seal? That acceleration was not that hard.....
