Hey guys, In the long waiting process of waiting for parts to come, i decided to look around for things that could help the performance of my car without going to serious.
i already have k04 turbo's on order ceramic exhaust manifold rs4 engine and tranny mouts, i just did my dv's and i have an intake to put on.
I was thinking about doing something to lower my intake charge temp. First i started thinkinga bout dual iC sprey kit's, then i found meth......
INJECTION KIT"S THAT IS!
i thought the idea was great, less heat is less wear = longer life, and that's what i'm looking for. I thought that if i mounted the pumps in the trunk with 2 resiviors i could have a meth injection and ic spray working together. i've done lot's of research on both and individually they have produced gains. i want to put them together.
Does anyone have a Meth kit installed on theyre car?
Any reccomedations on where to put the injectors on the s4?
I was thinking clost to the dv's on the top of the inlet pipe before the troublesome tbb. Or right into the intake manifold, although that would end up not distributing the water as evenly. I think the Inlet pipe's might be the best bet.
Any installation tips??
Do you knotice any difference??

All and all is it worth the 500 it's gooing to cost?

 

i've got a meth kit in mine. Came with the car. Aquamist is the brand and they recomend you install the tank as close to the engine as you can. They don't recommend using a tank in the tunk unless absolutely necessary. Mine runs off the windshield washer fluid tank (5.8L in an A4)
