Default Turbo Whine

I need some help. I just noticed that on my 2006 A3 2.0T i'm getting a whirling sound. I'm guessing it's from my turbo because when i step on the gas it whirls steadily but when i press the clutch the noise is gone. the sound is in front of my passenger seat. is my conclusion right? i'm sitting at about 91K for mileage. i thought turbos goes at about 100K.

Any thoughts?

Does it make the sound at idle? If it does and goes away when you press the clutch, it could be the clutch throw-out bearing.

no it doesn't sound like a dentist drill, more like a pulse that speeds up when i touch the accelerator.

it doesn't make the sound either at idle.

Any other ideas?
