Hi all, I just ordered a 2.0 2009 A4 with Sport Package and some other options. After driving the car I loved it but wanted it to be a touch faster. The Dealer (Pfaff) said they can include a Sprint Booster and Chip the engine as well.

Does anyone have experience with the SB? Any input on the chip would be appreciated as well. This is something that Pfaff would install and warranty, so Im assuming they would do the right thing.

Are there any specific questions I should be asking about these two items? Thanks!

 

PFAFF Tuning did my 09' A3. Chiped (GIAC), sprint booster, resonator pipe, evolution v-flow intake, and various asthetics... very happy with their service and they stay on your side as far as warrenty goes. The chip-tuning recovers a lot of power that the car could be outputting right from the factory, its sad, but that GIAC software they download to your car's computer makes all the difference (even gets you 4% better fuel economy overall). The sprint booster is an interesting mod... on the one hand it eliminates your frustration with those unresponsive electronic throttle systems, but if your car is manual you may find it trickier to drive. personally I can't imagine my car without the sprint booster.

The A4 is heavier than the A3 obiously and therefore i agree 200hp doesnt feel enough... I also recomend Pfaff's resonator pipe and a cold air intake to compliment the engine software upgrade
