sway bars????
I was just wondering what exactly upgrading the sway bars will do for the performance of the car? Can someone explain what these do? Will this help to make the steering feel more responsive? I have a 02 A4 and love it, but the steering has always felt alittle vague at higher speeds.... other than that... I live for the QUATTRO...
Thanks.............digabel
I accidentally put the same post in the exterior and body kit section...my apologies

Re: sway bars????
A sway bar (also stabilizer bar, anti-sway bar, roll bar, or anti-roll bar, ARB) is an automobile suspension device. It connects opposite (left/right) wheels together through short lever arms linked by a torsion spring. A sway bar increases the suspension's roll stiffness -- its resistance to roll in turns, independent of its spring rate in the vertical direction.
Does this help at all? Pretty much it allows for an easier job on your end to sum it up. This should work for any car, knowing they are installed proper and fit for the specific car you are using them on.

Re: sway bars????
2nd this ! My A4 handling benefitted big time when I put these on my car. Initially I didn't realize how much until I looked down and saw how much faster I could ctake on and off ramps as well as change lanes still feeling completely safe and secure ...
If you're interested, I'll sell you mine (or just the rear) as I need to go stiffer for my S4. If interested, email me: avantquattro@gmail.com
Cheers !
Steve
