Ummmmmmm NO!!! I know guys that have installed BOV in their Audi and it works fine and its great! Obviously it does not sound like you guys know much about the difference on how you can actually hook up a BOV vs DV and what is good and what is bad. Also what mods you do depends on what you wanna run between the BOV vs DV. So please read the other post that I have posted and then give suggestions. As for the spring you might want to check into it depending what that springs pressure rating is for and if it needs to be stronger or weaker. If you are runing at stock (for an A4 dont know about the S4's) 8-9PSI there is no sence to have a stronger spring as it will not circulate then. Obviously you knew this. As for the DV's yes they do look cool. Who makes them? Suprised you didnt go with a Forge007....Nice car by the way

1move, without re-opening the debate about the Diverter Valve versus Blow Out Valve, you may want to mention the following:

1. The AUDI "system" is a closed (non vented) turbo system using a Diverter Valve by design.
2. Modifications and adaptations will allow the use of a "vented" (Blow Out Valve) system, but that is "major surgery" and not supported by AUDI or its warranty.
3. Some, and I subscribe to it, believe that venting out (Blow Out Valve normal operation) that which the turbo worked so hard to make for you: pressure, has got to be wastefull...

...sides, I thought this debate was put to sleep a while back...
I enjoy hearing some Japanese "mod" blowing off (the "psshhh" sound) while I quietly blow them into the weeds!

should NOT put BOV to S4.. not designed for it.. end of discussion :)

on the other hand, you should probably replace your TBB before it goes... I'm ordering mine :)
