Default Dyno Video (B7 A4)

I got my car dynoed at Four Star Motorsports in Georgetown (I think) last winter. Below is the movie clip and the dyno plot.

Question Re: Dyno Video (B7 A4)

Interesting !! I saw a 2.0T VW GTI Dyno at 180whp at VagKraft this year. Wonder if that is a power train loss due to Quattro or is there a problem with your car ? By the way. How did the folks at Four Star Motorsports treat you and how is their facility? I have been looking for a decent AWD dyno in the GTA.

Didnt even know there was an AWD Dyno out that way.

The A4 really needs about 200 at the wheels.

Four Star was great but it was Bryan at Independant Tuning that pretty much rented out the dyno for a few hours and just had the guy at Four Star dynoing cars until we were done. The type of dyno I was on is probably the lowest reading dyno out there (from what I've been told). The drivetrain loss exceeds the 25% that is supposed to be for AWD vehicles.

I couldn't agree more about the power!

AWD's have a greater drivetrain loss... when one of my buddies got his 00 s4 dynoed I think he put down something like 170 stock, so the drivetrain loss plays a significant role...
