Only VW/AUDi guys make this distinction between a BOV and diverter valve no other group of turbo enthusiasts call them a diverter valve when they recirculate and a BOV (blow off valve) when they go off to the atmosphere.

J Ozzie: you've had this thread going with the other message you posted...

And here again: it is like sucking and blowing at the same time... which is impossible and even if you manage to achieve such a feast, it is not good for your lungs! It is much worst for an AUDI turbo!

Does an open air intake really make that much of a difference in sound in a B5 S4?
