Default 2009 B8 A4 2.0T Tiptronic

Where to start?

Want a little more out of my car, without affecting warranty. Any ideas where to begin??

Thanks

you can chip your 2.0T engine...i have a 2009 B8 too...i know chip doesn't affect warranty..cuz you can always flash it back to factory default.

Chip your ECU~ the APR chip is pretty good you can change it to stock anytime with the cruise control so it doesn't affect your warranty and easy to gain hp.....

could also update transmission software, TCU, change to K&N air filter, use only 94 Octane gasoline. Also ECU upgrades do have a few levels. Most owners I know stick with Stage 1 upgrades as a compromise - bit more power, not as much stress on engine as a Stage 2 upgrade. Ask your tuner for other thoughts. I also know a few guys who have installed turbos on non-turbo cars and done a few other crazy things. I'd leave the crazy things until end of warranty period.
