anyone having 19" on them?

 

hey, i am shopping for wheels too and cant choose between 18 or 19. I just worried about poor ride and control on the 19s. What are you thinking off? ...good luck

 

I wouldn't go bigger then 18. Thats already kind of a rough ride, 19 are just going to be taking you back to the stone age, your wheels will feel they are rocks, and hell ride like one also. For a4 18 is perfect, 19 looks way too big in a lot of cases too, just looks out of place.

Many GTA roads are horrible. With my summer 18"s I sometimes fine the ride to be too rough... or maybe I'm just getting old, but that's my 2 cents!

 

nah its the roads, with my winters on and 15" some gta roads are crappy going 60 , with 19.....buahahaha i don't want to think about that!!!

 

ya i wanted 19's but the 2 styles i wanted are not available in 19 only 18. so im getting my 18's. will arrive in 2 weeks. now deciding on if i should lower it. nice set of springs that will lower it 1.25". cant decide as of yet.

 

What body style are we talking about here?

on a B5-6, I like the size of my 17"... 18" would work, but not really enough sidewall for me to feel "safe" driving on Edm roads.

on the newer B7-8 you can get away with 19", maybe even 20", if that's what you want....
