can't turn key in the ignition?
I own a 1994 Audi 100 quattro, I can't turn the key in the ignition. I've tried playing with the steering since it is now in locked position. I'm thinking its the cylinder itself. Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

Sometimes the wheel sticks also and you wont be able to turn the key if the wheel is locked, you need to give it some muscle on the steering wheel and try moving it a bit and then slowly & gently turn the key while holding the steering in the position where you moved it to.

I have had same problem. Key would not go all the way into the cylinder. I HUNG on the whell but could not turn the key. I have two keys and have resorted to using my spare key to start car. I ahd car towed to dealer the last time this happened but dealer could not replicate problem so nothing has been doen. My next step is to replace my original ( apparently ) bad key.

Sorry, most of the time it's a worn key. The worn key should be replaced with the worn cylinder. Most dealers can order or recode your newly cut key to the new cylinder
