I would buy another one tomorrow if I needed another car. when I drive my car I feel good its as if Im driving some exotic car. Very comfortable, lots of space from legroom to headroom. you can sleep in the trunk if the wife put u out.(lol) As far as trouble I have not had anything major. But Just like any other vehicle, they all need to be well maintained. You take care of it and it will take of you...and as for attention, I alway catch someone trying to examine the car. I Love My Allroad today tomorrow and all the other seasons.

Give it a try if you can get a good one with low KMs (under 100) with full service records if possible. There are some still out there. Buy Private if you can. If you find your spending more than is comfortable for you move on. It will have resale value at least. I find you either get a good one or don't. I spend roughly $4,500 over 6 months in maintenance. Note that I drive it only 7-8 months of the year. And store it 4-5 months. But every year something fairly costly above what would be considered routine pops up. It's hard to explain but you just have to commit to the car or get frustrated. On a winter day I have peace of mind seeing my Wife heading to her work driving it. And then there's the engine service light ... keep the oil really clean as much of the sensors run off of oil pressure and clogged passage ways can effect them. I know that if you brake hard all the time your rotors will warp so brake as lightly as you can and this will help considerably.

Many things have needed replacement on the vehicle that have never needed replacing
on a 20+ year old BMW or a 10 year old Volvo I also own. Audi has some supplier issues IMO.

I love this car, I have a BMW540i which I also love but this is way more fun to drive especially in the snow. The repair issues are the same with all these type of cars if you take care of it it will serve you well. The driving pleasure and security is worth any extra costs.
Change the oil, let the engine cool down a little before turning off after a hard run and take care of any issues that pop up and you will be more than satisfied.
Today we had a large snowfall I turned up a very steep hill half the way up a taxi was stuck, there was a Subaru wagon ahead of me and he tried to go by the taxi and just couldn't get the traction however there was enough room between him and the taxi for me to pass and I had no problem going by both of them. My last car was a Lexus RX350 which is also a very reliable car but there is no comparison in driving pleasure and in the snow the Audi is much better. Buy it you will love it.
