I am looking to buy an Audi, either an A4 2000 or a 98 A6. The A6 has got close to 250,000 km.
The A6 is cheaper by a couple of thousands. Any advice? Does the A6 have too many Kms on it?

Thanks a lot and hope for some advice as I have to make a decision this week-end.

I prefer the A6, but in this case, the 2000 A4 will be a newer car, the 1998 A6 is a first year model, and has high klicks. The 2000 Tiptronic is also way better than the 1998 version. I would take the A4 out of those 2...........

Thank you. The 2000 A4 has also over 200,000 k more like 205,000 k and is about 2000 more than the 1998 A6. So thats why I cannot make up my mind.
Any advice is most welcome.

I would think a 4 banger with 205k has more wear then a 6 with 250k. With high milage cars you really have to be careful to make sure the car is still used and not used up. I loved my 98 A6 when I had it, but you cant deny the facts that the 2000 A4 is a model that had been around and was well developed by that time. It is a tough decision. Head is the A4, heart is the A6............

I know its tough. Its actually in KMs so a bit better than miles.
