Hi there. We purchase a new 2015 Q5 TDI last Sept. It is Black on Black, Progressive model with Nav and tow package. We love it!!!!
We have put 16k ( with the 8k service completed) on it already and until now no issues at all. But, today while on a trip to Mississauga, the oil indicator came on telling me it was low on oil. Needless to say I freaked out!!!! I called the dealership and they took me in right away and checked for leaks etc. None found. But what concerned me was they said it is common for this to happen and that I should not worry, but, I should carry an extra Qt of oil in my vehicle, just in case.

I have owned a number of vehicles and put a lot of commuter miles on them and I never heard of this before with only 16kms.

Should I be nervous?

Thanks
Steve
