Hi i just bought a used 1998 audi A4 v6 and ive already found a few things wrong on it first off i got some trouble codes on it wich i dont know what to make of them and secondly it wont start any more after haveing it for only 2 weeks. It happed today it turned on went one block down the street then it died and wouldt turn back on. its an automatic. i turn the key and everything sounds normal like it wants to start but nothing happens.Any tips on what might be wrong? oh and also the following dtc codes where detected P1129,P1122,P0140, P1141,P0455, and P0306. Also from what ive learned from the previous owner was that the car had not been properly serviced in years.I have already flushed the engine before changeing what little oil was in it due to an oil leak from a crack and faulty gasket on the oil pan. So far ive patched the crack in the pan with qwik steel to reduce the amount of oil leaked i still need to replace the gasket an oil pan as well. I didnt actually change the fuel filter as i really have no idea on where to even start. I did some research but not much luck all i know is that on an 99 a4 quattro the filter is in the back just above the fuel tank on the passenger side not sure if this applies to a 1998 A4. I think i might have a clogged fuel filter and thats part of the reason why the car wont start so if anyone has a good DIY guide on how to change the filter please let me know also if anyone can help me sort through my DTC'S it would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the Audi Forum .ca Are you in Riverside California? I don't have much help for your problems but I'm sure there will be some that do. Sounds like a poor start to the ownership. How many miles are on it?
