I just bought a 2006 A6 4.2 s-line
I love it! Great power and surprisingly good fuel economy..compared to my v6 Jeep wrangler anyway...

I have a question though...
When I hit the "NAVI" button it asks me to install navigation? does that mean I need to buy that 300$ CD from the dealer? Is there a cheaper place to get this?:S

A local wheel and tire shop is selling these 20" 360 forged wheels that apparently retail close to 5500$ and wondering if it would suit the car...
Its wrapped in 255/30/20 falken tires and selling the whole package for $2000. Used and has a slight curb rash on one wheel (very hard to see) and a chip in the paint on another...(mirror lip with machined face)

Can this fit with my s-line suspension? also how is the H&R coilover kit for this car?

I Have the same model, i really enjoy,,best car ever.
I know the 19 will fit but the 20,,,humm not sure

 

Nice! what did you get done to your car to get a stage 2 chip?
As in what engine mods need to be done to do so?
Was it a noticable upgrade in performance?

 

stock engine no mods, K&N airFilter Hi flow, custom built catback with X pipe.
they don't realy have a stage 2 for our 4.2,,,(unitronic)
because we don't see many A6 with performance mods like mine ,,, but the A6 4.2 ecu is bit closer to the S4 B74.2.
so my tech use the S4 B7 stage 2 chip with is own recipes,

He claim the S4 4.2 chipped should produce 375HP / 363LB-TQ so he pretend my A6
with is S4 chip in,,,,should be close 370/360

I believe Him because I could feel like day and night the Gain.

at the same time Unitronic staff give me the chance to visit the Dyno Room and all Hi tech instrumentation. and great people to.
