Late update but I bought a B6 A4 last year and started my 2.7 bored and stroked to a 3.0 block with B6 heads. Just ordered a single turbo kit and clutch.

I used he B5 power steering mounting bracket to mount the A4 pump and used the B5 alternator bracket to mount the A4 alternator. Trimmed a little of the upper timing covers and had to bend the dip stick to make it fit.
