Thumbs up New Audi convert

Hey there all. I have posted a couple odf questions and I thank you all for helping me decide to pick up a 2001 A6 Avant with the 2.8L. The only thing I would have liked is if it would have a manual instead of the TIP. but it was a good deal and only had 130,000 kms on it and 2 owners.

The timing belt and water pump are being done before I pick it up. That is largely due to this forum. You guys are the ones that told me to make sure that this is done at around this mileage.

I hope to get some pics posted soon. I will be looking to purchase a service manual, so if any of you can tell me a good website for this in the Toronto area I would appreciate it.

My Audi cherry has been popped and I look forward to years of enjoyment out of this new (to me) girl and I look forward to reading about all the advice and threads on this wonderful forum.

Thanks PhinX404.
Man you have done some work on yours. How do you like your Tiptronic? Have you had any upgades to it? I was going to put my 205/55/15 winters from the car that I've changed out for this one. I know that I'm going to loose performance but I have the tires and they rocked on the other car and would hate to have to sell them. Any thoughts? Will they even fit over the stock brakes?
