Leased a new 2013 Audi S5
Hi guys!I'm new to Audi and to AudiForum.ca
I leased a brand new 2013 Audi S5, with dual-clutch transmission, optional 19 inch rims and glacier white paint color. I have a two-tone red/black interior.
I absolutely love this car! I've recently taken it to the track, 1/8th mile drag runs in Montreal, and I had quite a blast! I had 10 victories and no losses.
Among the competitors I beat was a new 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500 that I beat twice in a row!!! 662hp and 631 ft-lbs of torque from that awesome 5.8L supercharged V8, manual transmission with launch control, sticky Michelin semi-slick tires. If you type "S5 vs Shelby" on Youtube, you'll find a video a friend of mine shot while I was racing. Should be from the first couple of results on your search.
The Mustang driver may not be the best driver, but a win is a win as we say. I think that the fact I had dual-clutch tranny, Quattro and launch control really helped me. The shorter 1/8 mile distance (vs 1/4 mile) also helped, as we can tell he would have eaten me alive past the 1/8 mile mark.

On a side note, I've been doing high-end detailing as an enthusiast for the past 16 years. I've even produced a couple of home-made videos with a friend of mine in French and English. In total, our videos have generated over 120 000 hits on Youtube and we've become the authority in Canada on car detailing. Best time that night was 8.2 seconds on the 1/8th mile. The Shelby GT500 was pulling steady 8.9
The conditions weren't optimal, as it had been raining like crazy the previous day and relative humidity was still 65% with a hot 28 degrees. Engines don't like that stuff that much. LOL
