Hi from Montreal, 2008TT Roadster
Hi, I just registered to this forum as I got some usefull information from here in the last couple of weeks.
I just got myself a nice 2008 TT Roadster to replace my 2006 S4 Cabriolet. I am planning a few mods to get the same exitement out of it as the S4 (minus 1,200 pounds).
We all have Audi in the family: A4 Avant (2X), TT Mk1 coupe, A5 Cab and now TT roadster... So I know a little about them and have a VAG-com to play with...
I imported my S4 from the us 4 years ago and just did it again last month with the TT. Easy process. Don't hesitate to PM me if you have questions about the RIV process or the DRL activation through VAG-com.
Here are a few pictures of the new TT as I purshased it and in winter gear. And the S4:

I love black cars: my S4 was black (see picture). Very nice but a real PITA to keep clean.
I bought my TT with 32,000 miles (51,000 km)
Of course I speak French: Jean-Claude is a French name. Not many English speaking person named Jean-Claude

Slyman:
I saw your black mags and I want to have mine black like yours . Actually I will probably have them painted charcoal and not black. Still debating...
I already made arrangement with my body shop. He explained to me in detail exactly how to prep the wheels and he will only have to paint them. Not expensive at all...
I am also looking at a large Audi Sport black sticker to apply on the side like in this picture. ebay item number 80444860703.
What do you guy think of this on a white TT?
