Hello to everyone!
New to the Audi forums. Have been on TDIClub.com as a VW owner for years. Reside in Riverview, NB.
I am seriously considering trying to find a 2002 to 2006 A4 convertible. Looking in the Kelowna, BC area due to the lack of rust on vehicles there. I want a Quattro if possible. There are a few unknowns to me regarding the various engines. I want some performance but don't know if the 1.8t or the 3.0 is the better engine Have found a few of both, but most were FWD only. This would make them about the same as my 2005 Passat TDI for winter driving.
Looking for advice on the strengths and weakness of these vehicles and what to watch out for when purchasing. Well aware of the timing belt but unsure if all engines are to be treated the same.
We have VAG-Com, as we have 9 VW's in the family.
Any advice appreciated.
