Guten Tag - A3 My First Audi
Greetings Everyone, 
Seems like a really friendly forum and I'm happy to say that I already saved some service $$$ with the referrals on this forum.
2008 A3, S-Line, TFSI ... love it all except for the super light steering... for such a sporty car some more feedback would be my only real wish list item!
One interesting thing I came across in doing research and speaking to people about my purchase last year was the overwhelming consensus that you don't 'buy an audi you lease it'. Even owners cautioned me.... Anyone have any thoughts on that?
I've noticed electronic gremlins over the last year power express down feature choosing to function and not function every few months ... random error messages about the headlamps ... but overall I'm happy as my A3 cleans up on gas mileage at over 600km/tank from a 55L tank!
Anyways that's my little ramble/rant .. looking forward to interacting with members on the forum!

The only reason to lease any vehicle is because there are tax advantages FOR YOU. The lease company WILL make money off you, they have to. The Audi service program and guarantee is top notch. Buy it if there are no tax benefits, resale is really good.
Most cars now have too many electronic goodies that are just more things to go wrong (IMO). My personal beef with Audi is the climate system; I'd much rather have a less troublesome approach. Aside from that, Audi's are the most technically advanced cars on the plant. I have owned three Audi's and the Quattro system is second to none (Subaru is second to Audi).
