Greetings From Vancouver
Greetings. My name is Lyosha and I hail from the beautiful city of Vancouver, BC. I own two fabulous Audis, a graphite gray 2006 A4 2.0T Avant and a shimmering silver 2000 A6 2.8 30V Quattro Sedan. The A4 is bone stock, while the A6 has numerous cosmetic upgrades. The A4 has 100,000km while the A6 has 280,000km. I'm the second owner of the A4 and the third owner of the A6. Once you own a European vehicle, everything else is literally junk. I've owned both American and Japanese, and while I've never had the thrill of owning a British, Swedish or Italian car, these Audis are absolutely fantastic.
I'm hoping to be involved in this forum with other fellow Canadians and Vancouverites. I was originally a long standing member of Audiworld and VW Vortex but those two sites have dramatically gone downhill. I still frequent Audiworld for their technical base but the A6 forum has been plagued with immature and offensive behaviour. I searched several other Audi forums before deciding to join as a member here. Hope things are more fun and relaxed here and maybe I can attend some meet and greets. You can catch me on the A6 C5 forum where I will be posting pictures and topics on my A6.

Re: Greetings From Vancouver
Welcome, the both of you!
Good to see another west coast Audi owner (my residence is on Van Isle). We should definitely organize a meet sometime. Those are some beautiful cars you have in your possession. If I had the income to, I'd most likely buy a second Audi to tinker with.
Post up some pics of your cars when you have some time!

Re: Greetings From Vancouver
Thanks for the warm greetings. My A6 is an ongoing project. I purchased my A4 last year so nothing has been done to it other than the regular oil change. I may start to post on the A4 forum but there is nothing really I'm doing to it other than enjoying it, so I'd just post pics. As far as the A6, so many things are starting to fail just through high mileage so I'm in the process of replacing things and learning while I ago. These Audis are definitely a lot more challenging to work on and require more maintenance than any domestic vehicle I've owned.
I haven't been on the island but I wouldn't mind stopping by to visit some Audi owners for a trip around the way.

Welcome to the forums! Good to have another Vancouverite in the house! I'm sure you'll find a bunch of info on both your cars here.
If you are interested, check out Vancouver Audi Club Vancouver Audi Club.ca - Index
We organize a bunch of meets and drives and you can also find more information there.

Re: Greetings From Vancouver
Thanks guys! I just posted some pics of my A4 on the A4 B7 forum and I'll be posting some pics of my A6 shortly. Everyone here is much friendlier than the guys at Audiworld!
I'll be sure to check out that Vancouver Audi club but I'm shy in person and both my cars would make me look poor alongside some S4s and RS6s that are rocking the streets of Vancouver.

Don't worry about being shy! I have a 1986 Audi Coupe GT so you don't have too much to worry about.
Drop by our forums at least and say hello.
